Scripture: Luke 9:28-36

The indigenous people of Chile, the Aymara, spatially relate time in a way that at first may seem strange. For them, the past is what is in front; the future is behind them. Only the past can be seen; the future, not being seen lies behind us, hidden from view. This shift in perspective offers insights into the basic road sign for the journey to Easter: "Stop, Look, Listen."
